Our Libraries
Porirua City operates one central library in the Porirua Central Business District, and four branch libraries at Cannons Creek, Pukerua Bay, Titahi Bay and Whitby. Visit our Hours page to see our opening hours, and our Locations page to view Google location maps of our central and branch libraries.
The library holds an extensive and current collection of books and magazines as well as a range of other items.
Collections held in the Porirua Library include comprehensive Genealogy and Maori/Pacific Island collections as well as DVDs, CDs, best-sellers and large print books. Visit our Services or Collections pages for more information about the library collections and what we can do for you.
